Step 5: Build Backlinks

Next, you want to get websites and blogs to link to your article. The more websites and blogs that have links pointing towards your article, the more popular your article will be in the search engines.

You can even take your original article, submit it to different article directories, and use the resource boxes there to point back to your original article. Doing this gets you maximum mileage from a single article, and is probably the easiest method of building backlinks.
